MOUNTAIN VALLEY HOCKEY LEAGUE
New England Wolves to join MVHL in 2026-27!
The New England Wolves are excited to enter into the Mountain Valley Hockey League as one of the region’s fastest-growing youth hockey organizations.
Based in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire, the Wolves are a USA Hockey–affiliated organization committed to long-term player development, competitive excellence, and building strong character on and off the ice. The program continues to expand each season and will be entering just its third year of youth hockey, already establishing itself as a respected and emerging presence in New England hockey.
The Wolves field competitive travel teams across multiple age levels. With a strong emphasis on skill development, structured coaching, and high-level competition, the organization is focused on preparing players for advancement to junior, prep, and collegiate hockey opportunities.
"Our goal is to provide a development path for kids in our area that challenges players while fostering a positive and competitive environment," co-owner Tim Kunes. "We believe the MVHL offers an excellent platform to continue that growth and compete against like-minded organizations."
The New England Wolves are committed to growing the game in their community while providing their athletes with meaningful, competitive experiences. The organization looks forward to the opportunity to contribute to and compete within the Mountain Valley Hockey League.

Mass Admirals to join MVHL in 2026-27!
Another addition to the MVHL for the 2026-27 season, the Mass Admirals.
Located in Massachusetts and operating out of the New England Sports Village, the Mass Admirals have been a staple in New England youth hockey for over 25 years. Throughout that time, the Admirals have built a strong reputation as one of the most trusted development-driven youth hockey programs In New England, regularly earning opportunities to compete in the MA State Tournament.
The Admirals’ development model focuses on providing the right competitive environment for every player. With teams spanning multiple tiers, the program prioritizes strong communication, culture, and player-first development.

Mid-Hudson Polar Bears to join MVHL in 2026-27!
Let's welcome the Mid-Hudson Polar Bears for the 2026–2027 MVHL season.
Located in Newburgh, NY with their home arena at Ice Time Sports Complex, the Mid Hudson Polar Bears have been around for 30 years. They are a storied competitive program in New York, historically competing for championships at the state level. Their development model is considered one of the top in the Hudson Valley and have produced numerous collegiate hockey players.
Hockey Director, Geoff Dumas commented: "The Mid-Hudson Polar Bears are ecstatic to join the MVHL. We are always looking for great competition and this allows us to achieve great schedules pairing with our high end development model. Looking forward to 2026-2027 hockey season!"
